Havoc
I named myself. I took the word Animal out of their mouths, wore it like a badge of honor then shoved it down their throats. I’ve fought for what I have. I see you coming, before you even know you want a piece of me. In a city riddled with warring families, I’ll rise up between them. My people, the broken souls I gather will have power by the time I’m done with them.I protect mine.Him. My brother, Nix.Her. The girl that is the only home I’ve ever had. She knows me.I’m coming at you, Sweetness. Stay ready.

Loved, loved, loved everything about this book! Animal's story growing up hurt so badly to read. Him and T were lucky to find one another when they did. She has to be one of my favorite heroines! Never backs down and is the complete assassin! I love her! I really enjoyed how even though you can read these stories separately ,they intertwined at different parts! Just knowing how Havoc got his name is incredible. To be able to withstand so much on their own Animal and T were a team that was destined Loved, loved, loved everything about this book! Once again Debra has nailed it. Havoc was perfection. So we all met Animal aka Havoc in Mercy, if you haven't read Mercy yet I recommend you do first.Yes Havoc is a standalone but you will get a better understanding of the characters if you have read Mercy first. This book is Animal and T's story. It's about their past and how they survived being homeless and how they became the people they are now. This book is action packed, will leave you speechless and takes you on a rollercoaster ride. DNF @ 50%Well, this was a HUGE disappointment. I loved MERCY, and I loved Animal in that book, but in this one, he was god awful. One, this had to be the least romantic book I have ever read. T (the heroine) is in love with Animal; he doesn't feel the same way. OK fine, a little off when you are trying to get me to believe in a couple, but OK. I could have maybe got past that if this poor doormat of a girl didn't then hang around to protect Animal and watch him f-ck two, three, four other women DNF @ 50%Well, this was a HUGE disappointment. You know when you start a book and your heart just hangs out in your throat for the majority of it. The kind of book that makes your heart race and your blood pump thanks to the action, the emotions and intensity. Yeah. That's Havoc. It's heart wrenching and heartbreaking. You might want to punch the hero in the junk. You might also want to slap him on the back of the head and give him a big huge hug, and when you get to THAT PART--the one where you have to read frantically to get past it before You know when you start a book and your heart just hangs out in your throat for the majority of it. Woooooow. WOW. 5 Stars for Havoc and T!So of course we first met Animal in Nix's Book Mercy (Which BTW is definitely in my top 5 of all time) Animal seems like an easy going ladies man but there is so much that Debra Anastasia revels in the this story to make you love him so much more! HavocBy: Debra Anastasia3.5 I only love Once StarsHavoc is a spin off book from the characters we met in Mercy. Although it’s a standalone, I would personally recommend reading Mercy first to get the full experience. Animal and T’s story is a wild ride. One that spans over many years. We first met Animal in MERCY. He’s the best friend of Nix — his brother. Animal aka HAVOC is a ladies man. One, two, three he’s not fussy, he’s the king in the bedroom and in his business but he’s also a fierce protector of those he loves. When someone from his past turns up, she too falls under his protection. The thing about T is she’s fierce and protective herself and will do anything for those she cares for; for the man she loves. The second part is about accepting your place in someone’s life, being the best friend you can be, learning your own heart, learning to live when your life is over. Havoc is a rollercoaster. It. Will. Break. You. Luckily, Debra Anastasia loves a happy ending so while you think you might not be able to breath properly, at least it’s temporary. Animal and T’s story is a hard fought battle. It’s utterly gorgeous— a big warm hug on a cold day. It’s— sublime. A very worthy 5 ⭐️

Wow, ACTION-PACKED and full of ANGST! This book is one big roller coaster ride! The twists and turns will keep your head spinning and your fingers flipping the pages! I didn't read Mercy. But this book is a continuation from that story, BUT can be read as a standalone. I had no problems following along. I can’t even put into words what this book did to me. Havoc starts up about where Mercy left off. Mercy isn’t required reading prior to reading Havoc, but I’d suggest you do beforehand. T is not like other women, the girl just surprises Animal over and over again, “yup, that’s the place. I like guns. They turn me on.” Animal really wants to go that extra mile for his woman, "T was here, naked in my arms. Spent in my arms. I wanted to kill something and eat the heart in front of her. I wanted to start eight fights and win them all, just so she could be impressed." I loved this book, Animal was well an aminal.

T’s been gone a long time but now she’s back.Animal, Nix and T work together. T knows how to fix problems. She’s good at what she does. While gone, she became lethal, honing skills to do whatever needs to be done. She’s closed off but she protects her people. And Animal has always been her people. The only problem is, Animal is all about the ladies. No strings, small groups and it’s all about the pleasure. And all he sees in T is a great friend.Sometimes you have to lose everything to realize what matters. This story kept me reading late into the night. I was never quite sure where things were going to go. I loved catching up with Nix. And the family bond between all of them is beautiful. Some families are built through love and loyalty, rather than by blood.

She is will to lay down her life, fight like there is no tomorrow to save these people. I just love her and will claim T as me till the day I die. No matter what anyone else says hahaha. And the ending HOLY SHIT!!! Didn’t see that coming. Havoc is a book I will read over and over again. She rights these characters like they are your friends and this is your story as well. Havoc by Debra Anastasia4.5 starsM/F thriller romanceTriggers: homelessness, foster care system, torture, murder, ménage situationsI was given this book for an honest review by Wicked Reads. This is Animal’s story. He is an enigma. Protective, dangerous, a loner. I really enjoyed his story. There was a complexity to him that you really got to know. I loved the way he and Nix related, as well as the relationship between him and Mareck. I loved the way he and Nix related, as well as the relationship between him and Mareck. Animals history is both tragic and wonderful, because it created him. T is another entity that you really get to know. She is fierce and will do anything for those she loves. I love that she only loves once, but it can also be to her detriment. The secondary characters in this story help make it whole and the relationships that develope throughout are family connections that will take hold and never let go. Watching the romance really play out was both heartbreaking and emotional. There were several times when I wanted to yell and scream. Others where I wanted to just cry on behalf of whomever was needing it. It ran the gammit of emotions. I can’t wait for more - this story was a good, well developed romance. Love truly does conquer.

Whoa, I am in a tailspin after reading Havoc by Debra Anastasia. What an emotional ride this story was. I think I was a mess half of the time and cursing Animal almost all the way through this book. With his past, I understood. He wanted to run away from the "real". But at the same time it was as if he was hurting himself more than our heroine T. This story marked my mind and heart. Days can pass and I will still be stuck in this book world.Debra blew me away with her story. It has the passion that is genuine, and lost souls that are just trying to find their way. Their salvation. I believe Animal was so damaged that destruction was all he knew. Until it was too late.. or so he thought. T was so strong to be able to endure so much hurt and pain. I do not think I would have stayed, but I am not sure I would be able to leave either. Havoc will give you so many feels that you will feel like your head is spinning. I could stop reading because all I could say, their life will get better. But does it really? Can two damaged people really be soul mates? You need to read Havoc to find out! But be aware! You will have a huge book hangover once you are through!
